Not a M v P thread, I like them both-
Recently got a 5950x rig up and running and it's amazing for audio and S1, but I'm running into one editing annoyance, curious if there is a setting somewhere. The issue is on windows, when I change the view to automation (a key) and have the envelope over the events, the tool prioritizes editing events (slip edit, event select etc) over editing automation. In OSX, once the envelope is selected, the focus/attention stays on the envelope. It's possible to open the automation lanes below the event track, but I think makes sense to put the focus on editing automation in the automation editing view... Is there something I'm missing here? |
When I click on the automation button at the top of the tracks I'm not able to interact with the midi on the track, just the automation.
Try right click and choose Expand Envelopes, I think that will do what you want.
