As the title says. I have a music track and a vocal track. Sometimes (more than often recently), when I'm recording the vocals, I hear a pause in the music and the recording for the vocals just stops. The music will contiune...HELP

Yea, if the computer can't keep up with the demands made on it the music stops (called dropout) then recording stops as well.

You've got to take control of your computer!

Well that's the problem a lot of the time, if you put software on your computer that actually has parts running all the time then it can drag a system down. That and other things, search for optimize for DAW to read more.

So we need to know your settings and your specs(click below in my signature).
