When i listen to the music i made in Studio One it sounds good. When i "mixed down" to a wav or mp3 file the sound is not the same, its worse!
But if i open a new project and import the sounfile it sounds better again! How can this happen? Please help a amtaeur from Sweden. ![]() |
Its one of two things, your output is clipping or youre using ASIO drivers in studio one and Windows drivers for your desktop and they have some weird effect on them.

Good point mycbeats, if you're on a laptop I would definitely check that first. Your sound settings (possibly in an extra app for the sound card that came with the laptop) may have some kind of sweetening on them that is messing up your mix.
