Is there a possibility to group colors not only by 5 between separators?

I downloaded the package a few months ago and it showed up in Studio One 3. For some reason, it's not showing up in the latest version of SO1 4 after installation attempt.

Go figure. Redownloaded from original thread and reinstalled numerous times without success..

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have just checked this and it is all OK. Download the package, put it inside your scripts folder (inside the Presonus folder) Reboot Studio One and it should all be there.

Note when you update Studio One, these extra scripts can get wiped out for some reason and they revert back to the install scripts. After an update you may need to put them back in.

Thanks for the reply... When I tried to install, I had already updated Studio One to the latest build. I will try to install the package again to see if anything has changed. I would like to avoid reinstalling S1 if possible, but I guess I could if need be. Though it originally installed correctly in S1 3.5, now it doesn't work in S1 3 or 4...

Fingers crossed...

Salud!

Being new to S1, I’m a bit confused. These won’t work on non-instrument/audio tracks in the console? Will these work on the multi-output tracks from a drum VI, for example? Busses, FX, etc?

While you in the arrange window you can simply apply these colours from this package to the tracks. All the tracks in the mixer will reflect the changes made in arrange. Colouring multiple outputs from a single VST in the mixer view only seems only possible using the normal colour palette.

In case anyone is interested, I've made a custom color set, spreading the colors around the color circle (45° increments) and, for each color, starting with 50% brightness and 100% saturation, then 75% B 100% S, 100% of each, 100% B 75% S and finally 100% B 50% S. Here is the result:

If you want to use it, simply copy the text below and paste it in a text file somewhere on your computer; then, in S1, open Lawrence's color bar, select "Import hex colors" in the menu and point it to that text file. Done!

Damn. I want my related outputs the same color as my instrument & bus tracks. I’ll stick with the default options for now.

Not sure what I did differently, but too many of my track colors look too similar. I thought it was the dark background, but it looks much better in vids with the same dark background.

Hi
How do i make my own set of color to import into the script?
I saw an TXT example file, tried to import it , but :-(
I then exported the default color set to see it's content, but i rally don t understand the color code inside that file.
-10079488
-6730752
-32768
-19866
........
........
I can clearly see they are 40 color codes , but can t understand each of them.
IMPORT HEX COLOR : how to do this? what is the type of the data to be imported? A css file or what?
A complete HOW TO will be great!
Thanks

They cover this pretty well on page 2 of the thread. User Trucky posted some sights which explain the color numbers pretty well too, especially this one: https://www.rapidtables.com/web/color/RGB_Color.html

Is there a way to colorize the Mixer channels without adding them to the arrange window?
for example Single outs of Impact ?

Formidable workaround! Thanks. Could use a "saturation" slider to complete the effort.
