I got a file from another S1 user....so Im not sure this is something they did but...
The lead vocal track doesn't pan L/R at all ...Ive disabled all plug ins, the track is set as stereo, I added other tracks in stereo no problem, just can't see whats wrong? Its been edited with Melodyne before it came not me...maybe that? Its starting g to wind me up.... |
Is the actual audio file mono or stereo. If its mono make the track mono, not stereo. Also try doing a Command B on the file as well to regenerate a new version of it. Sometimes that helps.
Panning does not pan stereo tracks. It only adjusts the relative balance between L and R channels. However a mono file on a stereo track should create similar results to panning.

Hi ...well I tried switching between mono and stereo, I think the original track is mono ...and no difference, I also tried the Bounce option, ...I actually saw your similar advice from an older thread
Still no difference...the pan slider works but the audio stays central... |
Where is the vocal track being sent to? Sometimes when you get sessions from others with different routings and especially different audio interfaces you can get some weird signal flow.
Check your audio IN/OUT setup etc..
