Extending a loop?

Happy 2019 all.
Wondering what am I missing in how to extend a loop forever once you have dragged it onto a track?

You can press D to duplicate and it will plop one down right next to it. Do that a bunch of times.

one other question in this area.... is there a way to search in loops for FULL loops, as in not just a kick loop of a certain genre, but a full kick snare loop of a genre?
