Well, this is a new one!
Everytime I use the bend tool, just once, it freezes the program. As soon as I move a file. This is the same song I was working on last week & the bend tool worked fine. The only thing that's changed in my computer is a new usb Focusrite Scarlett 18i8, which seems to be working properly. What the heck happened?

One thing to maybe try (and I'm grapsing at straws here so a big grain 'o salt comes with it) is cycling your cache off if you have "Use cache for timestreched audio files" checked in Options | Advanced | Audio.
If it's checked, uncheck it, close and restart the song, and see if it stops. Actually, even if it's not checked, check it and try it that way anyway and see if it still crashes. /poke in the dark Hope you get it sorted. |

I can confirm, the cached timestretch problem is mostly where it's at, although I do get some crashes if I undo a bit frantic whilst trying to adjust markers, ticking of cache really helps the problems!

There is one song in my album (12 total) that crashes when I use bend markers on 2 tracks specifically. all other track bend markers don't cause a crash. when I do the above described uncheck of cashed files it delays the crash by 1 minute but it still crashes. any ideas?
Studio one 2.6.2 Windows 8.1 I7-3770 3.4 Ghz 16 Gig ram 64 bit system thoughts? |
