Project Mode: Copy multiple plugins from one track to another

When mastering in project mode, I know that we can drag a plugin from one song/track to another but is there a way to do this with more than one plugin at a time without having to save an actual preset?

If I have say 2 or more plugins inserted on a song/track, I'd love to be able to transfer that to another song in one command.

Thanks in advance.

There is no key command for it AFAICT but if you drag'n'drop the label of the "Inserts" area (where the FX chain and FX drop downs are) to the target file you can replace the FX chain there. Don't let yourself get fooled by the label "Add FX Chain on Channel ..." that will be displayed while doing that. To just add them you have to drag'n'drop it to the FX Chains area of the Browsers Effects tab and then drag'n'drop it from there to the target file. If you drop the chain onto the already inserted FX (of the target file) they will be replaced. If you drop them underneath they will be added. Here the labels are correct btw.

Hope that was understandable ;-)

Yes, very good thinking! This seems to work.

Thank you.

You're welcome. And if may ask for a little favor in return: Could you please try to reproduce this for me (it really takes only a minute): viewtopic.php?f=151&t=31751
