Long-time Cakewalk/Sonar user here...

When I open an audio file created in Reaper using iZotope RX6 Advanced,
it displays the changing tempos from Reaper.

Studio One Pro 4 - does not.

Other than importing a MIDI tempo map, is there any way to get Studio One Pro 4 to see markers in an audio file created with Reaper?

Since RX6 Advanced can do it, I know it's possible!

Thanks,
MG

Have you tried setting Reaper as a Rewire host, and slave Studio One.

I no longer have Reaper on my computer, but it's pretty common to hook up one DAW to another via Rewire protocol. Tempo changes are part of that protocol where the slave program will follow any tempo changes.

I do this with Reason and Studio One all the time, so just checking if you explored that.

S1 may not show markers (as in flag location markers) but it will slave to tempo change locations.

I'm thinking if you then need to drop Reaper out at some point, you probably could record those tempo changes. That, I'm not sure. You might have to then map those changes.

Another way would be to import Reapers song data, if it contains tempo changes.

S1-6.2.1, HP Omen 17" i7 10th Gen, 32 GB,512 GB TLC M.2 (SSD),1 TB SSD. Win10 Pro, Audient iD14 MkII, Roland JV90, NI S49 MkII, Atom SQ, FP 8, Roland GR-50 & Octapad. MOTU MIDI Express XT. HR824, Yamaha HS-7, NS-1000M, Yamaha Promix 01, Rane HC-6, etc.

Thank you for chiming in Lokefly.

A tad more info is needed to clarify -
A client, who uses Reaper, sent me two audio files:
1) Click
2) eGuitar

I need to make SOP4 sync up so the grid matches Reapers, as the drummer is going to track at my studio.

There are no time signature changes - only tempo changes.

When I first received the files, I opened them to get the stats/interlacing, etc. of the files using iZotope's RX6 Advanced.

RX showed not only what the files were recorded at, and whether or not they were stereo or mono tracks - but also displayed the different tempos as markers.

SOP4 only imports the files and shows no markers and only the default tempo.

I'm just wondering if it is possible with SOP to import the Reaper audio files and display the markers without using a midi file tempo map.

From what I've seen... it is not.
