I grabbed these a few days ago. Awesome to get these add-ons for free. Not really sure how and when I will use them, so I wouldn't have paid the 250 for them. I am sure they are great... I just don't know if my talent warrants all of the subtle options on these fat channel plugs!
That said, it kind of seems like bit by bit they are releasing a few at a time for free. Think eventually we'll be able to get the whole collection? And aside from coming across a somewhat silent post here, how would we know when or if any more came out for free?

Also... As an ex-sonar it who didn't really ever use the prochannel stuff, I wonder how these compare with what is available Over there. Seems like some of the same or same kind of emulations but more of them on s1 side.
Would be great to have a bit more context on which ones people are using for what functions. Some of the online videos are really hard to tell because they usually all seem like this vs waves vs slate or whatever rather than digging into the plugs themselves.

Maybe a stupid question. I did read the documentation.
It states Each plug-in comes in both StudioLive Series III format and Studio One format so you can use your new processor on your computer and in your mixer. The following compressor models can be added to your StudioLive mixer and the Studio One Fat Channel plug-in: Are these supposed to be present without owning the mixer in Fat. The FC670 the Alpine C100 and so on?

Is there a list somewhere which shows what vintage hardware units these plugins emulate?

Matt, I did that purchase. Fat Channel Vol 1 show up under purchased Items. I installed them
When i go under activate purchased items, they all show up to activate. I clicked activate and they activate one by one. Brit Comp, Comp 160 and so on. They don't show up though. It may be they are not part of this Fat Channel Vol1. Not sure really. It appears that way even though they install and activate. The bundle lists these only. Classic Compressor Vintage 3-band EQ The Tube P1B Compressor The Tube Midrange EQ No biggie.

They don't show up separately, at least not for me. Select the Fat Channel as an insert. Then you can scroll through the different compressors and EQs within the channel itself. i.e. When you have compressor selected, you can choose the different types from there.

See the other ongoing thread re Fat Channel add-ons. I had a similar problem with the Vintage set not appearing as a dropdown option in the FC plugin...
They all seem to be included in the generic 'Volume 1' download but are only activated when purchased through your Presonus a/c. Regards....
