HI,
So I have a file with a requirement of -18-> -23 rms and no true Peak above -3. I dont want to EQ because I don't want to change the tonality. I guess this is a newbe question....... how do I raise the rms and keep the TP under -3 WITHOUT a Limiter ? I am not sure how to set the compressor for this. Using FabFilter Pro-C Thanks |
michaelpeloso wroteHI, Use one of the S1 compressors to increase the RMS, combined with a Limiter to keep the peaks in check. No need for any 3rd party software/plug-ins. You need a Limiter. I'm not clear why you would avoid that. ******** The settings are specific to your audio for your compressor. I'm assuming you're creating audiobooks for ACX or another publisher...
