Hello everyone.

Upgraded to Studio One 4. I tried doing a small mix on it but the Neutron 2 keeps crashing the program.
The Neutron compressor, the neutron equalizer.

All of them.

Anyone else with this issue?

I am running Windows 10 with 16gb internal.

You've updated to the latest versions of the plugins?

Does VST3 crash?
Does VST2 crash?
Or both?

Does it crash on S1 V3 ? (Assuming you have it).

How does it crash? Any error messages?

Intel i9 9900K (Gigabyte Z390 DESIGNARE motherboard), 32GB RAM, EVGA Geforce 1070 (Nvidia drivers).
Dell Inspiron 7591 (2 in 1) 16Gb.
Studio One Pro 6.x, Windows 11 Pro 64 bit, also running it on Mac OS Catalina via dual boot (experimental).
Presonus Quantum 2626, Presonus Studio 26c, Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, Faderport Classic (1.45), Atom SQ, Atom Pad, Maschine Studio, Octapad SPD-30, Roland A300, a number of hardware synths.

No, all good here, all the Neutron 2 Advanced stuff works fine here regardless of whether VST2 or VST3 are being used.

Studio One 4 Pro
Window 10 Pro 64 (Not up to date)
All iZotope stuff latest.

Yup, I have the same issue here. I had it on my Sandy i5 2500k system. I recently swapped out the motherboard, cpu, and ram for the Coffee Lake i5 8400. While izotope products behave and respond much, much better neutron 2 still crashes Studio One. Seems to happen a bit less but it still does it... on two separate systems.

No issue on Windows 10 but I'm using version 1 of Neutron on Studio One 4.0.1.
If you haven't already I suggest you download Izotope's Portal software for automatic updates.

This is also happening to me too.
It is very frustrating.
Has anyone figured out a fix for this yet?

Using Neutron 2 here with no issues in Studio one 4. On Windows 7.

As I'm not sure who you are referring to, it's hard to guess what "same here" means. The previous comment stated it's working.

so i figured i'd come back to this forum
I tried it out again on Studio one 4.5
Factory reinstall of both Studio one and the latest version of Neutron 2.
Also complete fresh install of Windows 10.
I was with one of Izotope's representatives and they were trying to recreate the problem by taking control of my computer.
It looks like the issue is when you use Neutron 2 or Ozone 8 in VST3 mode on a Windows computer on a highDPI display. I'm using a 4k monitor. When i switch to a 1080p display the issue doesn't happen at all. Sucks because i can use the VST3 version of Neutron and Ozone in Ableton Live 10.1 just fine with HighDPI enabled.

No problem for me with Neutron 3.........but I was having a similar problem with the new IK Tape Machines, both with Studio One 4.5.1 and in Standalone mode. It turned out to be a problem with my Intel GPU. I fixed it by downloading and installing the latest BIOS for my computer, which then gave me the opportunity to separately download and update my video driver. YMMV
