I accidentally stumbled across a phenomena recently while experimenting with sampling rates between tracks and projects. I didn't realize what I had done at the time, but the sampling rate for a single track varied from the sampling rate for the entire project. The result was a dramatically s-l-o-w-e-d down version of the track.

Here's my question: I actually enjoyed that inadvertent effect and now I'm wondering how to recreate it. Is there an algorithm involved that I can use to calculate the amount that a track is slowed down or sped up according the variance between the sampling rate for the track and the project?

Can the pitch and tempo be altered in the same way through other means within S1?
