I'm still on v3-latest and melodyne studio latest on my iMac.
I've almost never had any issues with melodyne in s1 in the past, but in my latest project anytime I try to edit with melodyne s1 crashes. Does anyone know of a workaround to this problem or do I have to recreate the project from scratch?

Hi,
The only times that I have had issues whilst using Melodyne inside Studio One it always turned out to be some other 3rd party plugin was the culprit. Other than that I've had no issues.

Same issue here. Contacted Celemony, but nothing they can do. For me it happens all the time and especially when I use the "split tool" and move the split around, 100% crash. I have one project that I couldnt open anymore, a friend had to open it and save it without melodyne (he is on an older version of studio one)
oh and...just updated to S1 4...Same...  |

I recommend you bounce any audio that is being edited by Melodyne so save what you have.
In the past, I then de-activated Melodyne from advanced settings, closed and re-opened Studio One to ensure it was not active. Then I re-activated it and tested again. Also, just make sure you are on Melodyne's latest version. I would contact both Presonus and Celemony support if this doesn't help. |

And we have a winner!
 After testing the tips above I've managed to narrow it down to a split clip that had melodyne on it that had been moved to a different track. Looks like ARA isn't 100% when it comes to moving split clips. Removing melodyne from that specific clip and then re-applying it made s1 happy again.
