SOLVED - Ezdrummer 2 and Studio one 3 pro not working.

I have read a ton of posts on this topic but still can not seem to get this to work.
I have clicked on the studio one tab, options, locations tab, reset the blacklist etc etc, several times. When I scan I get under the c drive toon tracks. I have applied that along with several other locations. No matter what I have tried I have not found ezdrummer under the vendor or instruments tab on studio one. Obviously I am missing something on this. It's all 64 bit. Ezdrummer, s1, everything. I spent hours trying to figure this out. I won't be able to work on it to this weekend. If anybody has some ideas on what I can do to fix this I'd very much appreciate it.

Are you sure the ezdrummer vst DLL is in the location that you think it is? What OS are you on?

ToonTrack have there own installation software 'Product Manager' are you using it? I've found it to be very useful and reliable (unlike some I could mention - Izotope eat your heart out).
If you've not been using it and assuming that you have the relevant licenses, maybe consider uninstalling EZ Drummer, installing the ToonTrack Product Manager and try again.

Regards...

There stuff is located under program files/commom files/xxxx in Winblows 8.1. I just went through this yesterday resetting everything back to defaults in S1 troubleshooting Sampletank issues. Took me a while. need to do a screenshot next time of paths before i screw around with it again.

Put you system information in your signature. Not sure what OS you have or anything..

Thanks for the responses. It's Windows 10 os. Everything is properly purchased. Yes I have product manager as well. I'm wondering if I set up a specific folder for ezdrummer if that might help?

Make sure the paths i mentioned are included in S1 under options/locations/vst tab. With them mine did not load.

To the OP,
If you had your spec's in a signature it would cut down on the questions and possibly get you an answer quicker. Click on the link in mine below to add yours.

One thing not mentioned is what your version of Studio One is?
So check this out concerning that.

If that's not it and you do have Pro, then here's a near similar issue from a (searchable) previous post on these S1 forums. ;)

As far as it being similar, it is but ezdrummer does not show up at all in studio one under the instrument tab. I'm missing something that I'm sure when it's solved will be obvious to you folks. Lol your time and effort is much appreciated

If Scottyyo7 post did not help, Did you make sure these are in S1 options, under options/locations/vst tab. It could be that simple.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

I'll try that this weekend. I know it can't be all that difficult. It's going to be a few button presses is my guess

I'm not finding a vst folder or a common folder on the c drive

c:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2\Toontrack.
Odd.
Search for this "EZdrummer.dll"
Maybe it is not installed properly. It is properly licensed and all that jazz a manazz?

Ok vst were buried even further in the system. Once I directed studio one to it everything worked like a charm. Thank you all for your help. It really was something simple in the end. :XD:

The program folder was buried in a folder for pictures. My grandson was fooling with the pc and that might be how it ended up there....that's my guess lol

Thanks. Oh and yes I'm loving it and the flexibility of the program. With S1 I have so much to learn.
