There's no way they'd create ballyhoo for a point upgrade; imagine the collective: "Whaa?"
It's definitely V4. The big clue is the four dot ellipsis in the clouds parting graphic. There is such a thing as a four dot ellipsis but they're very rare.
But I know what you're doing, damping down your expectation so the joy is multiplied!

roland1 wroteIt is rumored to be shipping with completed hit songs that, with slight modification, can be sold as one's own artistic self-expression. Imagine, no more slaving over a hot riff for hours and hours.

That's pretty sad.

Wait, this is even sadder,
mikemanthei wrote: I'm sure they enjoy tossing out teasers.....smugly watching because they know that regardless of what new gadgets are included... 99% of their customers will happily fork over another $100 for the next major release. Even though it doesn't resolve anything that they've been complaining about.

I do understand your point, Mike. Also, yes, there have been rudimentary misses from even v2, but you've got to cheer up. Write a song. Remember what you touched on. It is "all about the music". Write a song, buddy. Pull up. Pull the yoke ..... up.

So what is that supposed to show? Looks like v3.
Johnny Geib with a single track open in S3? Where does it say S4 beta? (Oh no, here come the photoshop alterations, next).

Ooooh. Such inside information. "People close to Presonus".

Home studio trainer. That's the scoop? Lol.
"Yes" [He cried, clearing the smoke from his eyes] "it's all so clear to me now".

If anyone needs some new subject matter for a song, here's a good one (case in point)

Call it "Hysteria " or maybe "Hysterical ". ;)

So, that's an icon in his Apps. Not even appears to be open. Johnny Geib is beta testing it. Is that some leak?

Wooooooo!

Anyway, you Theologians have fun.

I guess it makes it more likely that we're gonna see a version 4 and not a version 3.6. At least that's how I interpret it. :)

I got a smack from the Admins last week for posting that image and my post was quickly deleted. Either they now don't care as it's nearly launch time or they're too busy watching the Royal Wedding...

You're probably right given all this recent hooplah, deletions, close to the wedding date, etc.

:D I typically don't care about such things but I did peek in this morning and was surprised to see that the Royals have apparently unbunched their panties.

It was all surprisingly progressive.

Hasn't that already been happening for the past 2 decades?

ahh..but I digress. To stay on the already loose topic, I think the marketing department at Presonus is having a good chuckle watching their minions scurry about and try to guess the latest offering. And why not? We do give them plenty to be entertained by...

Carry on. Nothing to see here. :)

I think your most effective course of action is to write a song about it. :) Maybe then somebody in charge might listen to you. "Talking Software Upgrade Blues" — some kinda Dylan thing, maybe. If nothing else, at least they might dance to it. :D

There are already 46 people waiting in line at YT inside their sleeping bags and drinking from their thermos bottles full of hot chocolate, wanting to be first to claim ownership of the new version.

A word like "helicopter" could also work. Even "lobster", "laughter" etc. Not to mention "Lara Croft's hair". Depends on how picky you are. :+1
