Two little things that I'm running into a lot with my current project's workflow. Before the usual crew asks, yes I searched the manual but I'm not perfect so might have missed it.
1. Is there some way to make it so bounced audio events keep their same boundaries? It seems every time I bounce an audio event it is extended, sometimes quite a lot, so the left edge of it meets the previous event. I would rather this not happen. 2. Is there some "Random Color" function I'm missing for creating tracks, or maybe some macro I could set up to randomly color all selected tracks? I use "auto-color" when I create them but because it seems to just cycle through the color palette I have to make at least 10 tracks before the color looks appreciably different. Thanks yall! |
1) The bounce event extending is due to the quantized value.
You can override it with a shift. No random color.

jpettit wroteYou can override it with a shift. I got it working the way I was expecting by using N to disable the "Snap to Grid" mode, but Shift doesn't seem to do anything when I'm bouncing the selection. I tried using the drop down menu and the key command/shortcut for Bounce Selection. |
