Hey, I dont know if this is the right place for this question but I am struggling to find another area to post it where it would make sense.
Please forgive me if Im violating any forum rules by asking this.

I have a Macbook (new) and a brand new Audiobox USB with Studio One Artist. I have been trying for months to get the computer to recognize the audiobox but it just doesnt. The light is red on the box. It looks good to go. Mic is also plugged in, good to go. But when I go to enable a track to record it says "No audio device". Doesnt recognize it at all. Just downloaded the Universal Control. That didnt help. Nothing is helping. I am so bummed that I havent been able to use this even ONCE since I bought it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How about a tutorial... I always like those best. The first is older but for the AB USB and the 2nd one is more complete and in depth. ;)

I sincerely appreciate the response but I've seen these, watched them minute by minute and they haven't helped me at all. I must just be a moron.

Hmm, OK sorry it wasn't that easy.

-Are there updates available for your AB or your computer... PC or Mac?
-Have you ever had it working... may on another PC?
-It could be an issue with the USB port?

Turn off your PC, then plug the AB into a different USB port.
Now turn on the PC... any difference?
Sometimes USB ports get 'conditioned' to a device so maybe the port you're trying was used for a printer, etc..

Alas, someone else in the community may have an answer.

You can also search the forum(s) for similar issues with the USB AB.

That's not the place where you choose your audio device.

On page 10 of the reference manual it shows audio setup in preferences(on the song menu)

The drop down box should have your interface listed. Does it show up there?
Once you choose it there then you can setup input bus's like shown on page 12.
Then a track should show the bus's you setup that you can choose to record from.
