Hi,
I'm having problems when editing tracks inside the folders. Cut, fades, moving events, etc.
This happens in my Studio One 3.5.4 64 bits running on OS X 10.10.5.

is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Obvious questions coming your way...

There are many factors that can contribute to a slow performance. How many plugs are you using? How many instruments? Does it happen to just 1 song you are working on or all songs? Are you running other programs along with S1 on your computer?

Can you reproduce the issue with just a few tracks inside a folder?
On my end on a PC, I do not have this problem but I am running a fast computer with decent memory.

You need to give us steps to reproduce the issue on our side.
It could be that this is not a bug but something in your system that needs addressing.

So please, before you use the words "Bug Report" help us to better understand exactly the issue with specifics so we can test. Otherwise, there isn't anything to go on.

Thanks.

Same bug in Studio One 4.1.1

The session runs perfectly. But when I create track folders, the editing inside folders is too slow.
No matter plugins or number of tracks.

I just checked with (4.1.1) on Mac with a large session. One of the demo songs. Editing was no different for me on tracks inside or outside folders. Nothing slow going on here. Everything normal.

This one was reported to the developers via support ticket.
The slowdowns/lag becomes apparent when using many audio events- in my case multitrack drum slicing. It doesnt lag if you dnt use folders- group tracks via ctrl+g command directly.

Yes, I'm also having a similar issue only that I cant tell the difference with folders or without that i discussed here. The thing for me is also that when selecting several events quickly that studio one just skips most of my clicks. No matter how tiny or big the project, no matter how many plugins. (and in no other programm on my mac).

and made a feature request here: https://answers.presonus.com/30976/quic ... tain-speed

still frustrating me quite a lot, when you always have to wait for the programm to allow you to click. I dont really get why not most of the users are annoyed by this, because it really brakes the otherwise nice workflow you can have with the program
