Pictures are worth a 1000 words. They really help you to get an answer to an issue much quicker.

The forum has been improved to handle much larger pictures without truncating. They automatically resize so the entire picture may be seen in your post. This is great for phone viewing as well. Depending on the size or position within the picture you want to draw attention to determines the best way to add a picture.

You have two option for making picture available
1) Embed them.
This approach requires the picture be on a public server URL to embed in your post. Picture Hosting sites such as Dropbox or Screencast will give you an url such as:

http://content.screencast.com/users/jpe ... 2015-17.39.png
It must end with a know picture type like .png or .jpg etc.

Use the picture embedding button to wrap a url to your picture
Embedded picture resize to a maximum of 1000 pixels wide and minimum the size of your phone screen.

Pros: Allows for tighter embedding with text to describe the issue.
Cons:Require you to upload to a sever first., It may be two small to see the issue on some screens.

2) Attach them.
Pros: You do not have to have a public server to upload to and maintain/keep for a long time. The picture can be shown in full size by clicking and is scrollable
Cons:. Not as tight of integration with text. It requires you to click on the picture to see it full size.

However, this approach does not work well for animated GIFs.
This is a variation of approach (2) to get around the animated GIF issue were you:
a) First attach the picture,
b) Open the picture (using the eye icon) and copy the Presonus server URL link,
c) Paste/embed that URL into the post.

Cons:. This approach has a side effect of showing the picture twice.
