The latest Cubase release has moved even closer in the S1. They've added a browser panel, though it's only for sounds now. There's drag and drop now, but again it's limited to a few areas. 16 slots for plugins. Bezier curves for automation. 64 bit floating point engine.

It sure does feel like their roadmap is being pulled from the S1 feature list.

Win 10 Pro 64 bit, I9 9900K, 16 Gb, Presonus Quantum, 3xUAD Solo, Novation SL61, Faderport 16, Studio One V6.5 (latest rev), And sometimes Macbook Air M2, Ventura, with the same peripherals

Looks nice. Yep they all kinda copy some things from each other, no surprise there. They've done it before with the Automation Transformer, Track Layers, and some other things, and vice versa for Studio One.

For some things that appear to work well in some other product ... why not? The only subjective or arguable "fail" if doing that is maybe not making it better, if at all possible, like Studio One copying Cubase's track folders and Audio Parts, but improving on them a little.

When you rip something it should be a little better than the original, unless there's no room for improvement.

Yet nobody who has had the issue has come forward with any solutions that has solved it for themselves, whilst the rest of us just carry on without any issue's for almost 8 weeks on the latest version...humm

. In any case, Studio One could do with nabbing a few things from Cubase, likewise..

There is no solution , Presonus is supposedly fixing it. Glad you and your friends have no issues

Typical PC user response HA

This issue is in 3.5.2 so the solution is to run 3.5.1 until whenever, there ya go. Its still BROKEN dude.

Ill let you figure it out for us :+1

Send me your Mac and I'll fix it with a hammer, that way you won't need to worry about any stuck notes any more. ;)

The 3.5.2 midi bug is becoming the literal dictionary definition of beating a dead horse. Let's all agree on a few things...

1. Sometimes humans make mistakes. (those who never have, please raise your hand)
2. The thing is already fixed. (as has been said over and over by Ari)
3. You'll get the fix soon enough in an update. (as has been said over and over)
4. If you can't wait, use 3.5.1, the sun will not explode. (as has been said over and over)
5. People who don't use midi couldn't care less. (yes, they actually do exist )
6. Some people only see it if they start playback from 0:00 on the timeline, so they're very easily working around it by not doing that.

Should it have happened? In a perfect world, no. But please see number 1 above again related to the non-perfect nature of human beings.

Chill out... it'll be fine.... really... it will.. ;)

Flogging a dead horse (alternatively beating a dead horse, or beating a dead dog in some parts of the Anglophone world) is an idiom that means to continue a particular endeavour that is a waste of time as the outcome is already decided.

Actually, I would be more worried about the black matter emanating from that dying star called the Sun. I've seen Star Trek.

But on the bright side Leonard Nimoy will resurrect.

8-) 8-) 8-)
