Hey all,

I converted ezdrummer midi to an audio track to free up cpu power. I then hid the ezdrummer track.

Now I need to go back into the midi and turn the kick down a bit. I unhide the ezdrummer track...can see all the midi...but can't get it to play anymore. Not sure why.

Essentially I want to delete the audio track I created from the ezdrummer midi and then just go back, turn down the kick in ezdrummer and render it back to audio.

Anyone know what I need to do to reactivate that ezdrummer track and all it's midi? It won't play.

Thanks

Have you still got the EZDrummer (2?) instrument on the track in question? You can always try dragging another EZDrummer instance onto the track to replace the existing.
Conversly, you can drag the midi into a fresh instace of EZD on a new track.
As a check, to see if the midi is OK, you could load Presence onto the track with a drum preset (artist version).
Check also the various midi controllers in the 'Edit pane' to make sure that you haven't inadvertently 'turned it down' or similar.

Maybe one day I'll actually finish a project!

Thanks. Yeah the midi and ezdrummer track is all still there. I thought that by converting it to audio the ezdrummer track may have been 'frozen' by default and it may be just a matter of unfreezing it or something.

Anyway, I'll try what you advise and see how that goes, if I can't find a way to unfreeze it.

Thanks for the reply.
