I love Native Instruments keyboards and integration with Kontakt, but Studio One doesn't have built in support for the Komplete Kontrol plugin like other DAWs do.

Please support it!

This isn't full native support obviously but maybe it will help you:

I have the Komplete Kontrol keyboard as well and this works great for enabling the transport controls to function properly.

Hello,

When i bought S61 MK2 with K11 ultimate a seller from NI (Canada) told me Studio One is supported by komplete kontrol...tough tough... I love Studio One and i don't want to go back to Cubase or Logic...
So pity to have to route midi komplete Kontrole track to another Kontakt for each instrument !
Please Monsieur Presonus ;)

We're not alone.

Bye and take care anyway

I searched the feature request forum (link above) and only saw one feature request which has 43 votes, that hardly makes it top of the list. On the basis of this I wouldn't even expect them to get our of bed. Regardless even if it was a popular feature request they're hardly going to say very much until it is done (time is better spent actually doing stuff).

I suggest you get voting.

I’m sure it’s on their radar but I still it find it funny that sales people are just telling everyone that whatever DAW they’re thinking about buying is compatible with Komplete Kontrol

Mac OS X Catalina 10.15.7
Mac Pro 6.1
3 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5
32 GB 1066 MHz DDR3

I am considering getting the Kontrol keyboard as well as I already have Komplete 10. I am worried that it will turn into some buggy nightmare though. According to NI site the situation with supported hosts is this:

Supported hosts.jpg

With other hosts it is this:

Presonus compatibility 2.jpg

There would be 3 things to work on, Track selection, automatic track focus and the MCU thing.

Doesn't seem like too much work.

OS: Win 7, 64 bit. MB: ASUS P8Z77-V LE PLUS. CPU: Intel 3.4ghz, i5-3570, LGA1155. RAM: 8g DDR3 1333Mhz. 1 X SSD (OS) 2 X 7200 HDD (Recording/Samples). Steinberg UR44, Nektar Impact LX61. KRK Rokit 4 G3. S1 Pro V3.5.6. NI Komplete Ultimate 10.

Or buy a one track Faderport which is perfect for what's missing, same for most other keyboards I suspect.

Right, that much is obvious, but can Presonus update us and let us know they are indeed working with Native Instruments on this?
Can someone from Presonus staff comment on this thread with an update?

Oh sorry, I am just getting back on board here,it used to be in the early days of Studio One, Presonus workers such as Jonathan Hilman would often answer these questions directly. Much has changed in this respect. ;( thanks for the tip

Update: Native Instruments Chris@NI confirmed on Jan. 28, 2019

Our Development Team is in talks with Presonus about this already. An SDK has been provided to Presonus for adding Host Integration Support to Studio One, so it is up Presonus to decide if and when they would like to implement this into Studio One. Beyond this, we have no further information available.

So now the question is where is this update for Presonus Studio One?? It looks like NI has done their part, what's going on with Presonus dev's, how close is this to being our reality now?

I see. So you consider purely on the basis of NI forwarding a SDK to Presonus, that all other development should stop so they can get this out.

Alrighty then.

Tip - It may or may never happen. You aren't getting timescales regardless.

Simply a question, it's a pretty popular company (NI) and pretty popular keyboard and workflow request. I don't see how you think I'm asking for it to trump other request's. NI has done their part,by submitting their SDK. So I think it's fair to question Presonus now!

And by the way, I'm specifically posting in the user forum, as a Presonus user/customer , as Presonus does view the user feedback as mentioned by their staff in the user forums.
I've already submitted requests along with many other people. I'm posting so other users can view the update status of this request from NI.

One thing I don't do is comment or hate on other peoples requests, please stop trolling my posts your not presonus, and why would you even give a bleep?

Um I'm not trolling or hating you, just stating facts.

Companies send out SDK's all the time. It also takes a very long time to write and prioritise software, software development is hard.

You appear to demanding to know why your fav feature hasn't happened purely on the basis of an SDK has been sent out, I suggest this is the wrong approach.

There is a feature request forums here, you should be encouraging people to vote on your fav feature request, that's the normal procedure.

As far as I am aware it's rare you are going to.know info of current development up front unless you are a beta tester.

Again sorry for stating facts, yes these are user forums where users comment. I have every right to comment as do you.
