Er... hi... crap...
Hehehe... I'm a little stumped on this... Okay, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 has been really crackling with its control panel and their support felt a little dodgy so I've had enough and ultimately bought AudioBox USB Black Edition. That's great, except, er... it came with like, four or five plugins so I went ahead and got those but then StudioOne is taking a really dang long time just to scan the new plugins so I ended up having to reboot the thing only to find out that the thing is ignoring the new plugins just because it "crashed before." This is one of the rare instances where you actually will have to throw some common troubleshooting suggestions regarding booting problems... because... I don't even know what to even check in the first place due to the fact that I can't even access the settings. No, seriously, the dang DAW is taking over three hours just to scan one plugin and it kinda just froze in that state, and when I checked the Task Manager it did say that StudioOne is working fine... so... I'm really confused as to what I should even do... I'll take in any suggestions at this point. Just please help me get the DAW to actually scan the new plugins... Thank you...

From the FAQ forum, this should get you started.
viewtopic.php?f=152&t=32 C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 3 Is where your setting files sit on Windows. If you can remember where your VST path is temporarily moved it so that S1 does not find it.

Er... can I mention that I'm having trouble trying to get StudioOne to show its main menu at all? Anyway, I did move all of the plugins to the desktop and it ran fine. Do I move the folder back to the original location and try again? Sorry for the delay. I did not have any sleep last night and I dosed off.

There are many plugins built into S1.
I suggest just learn to use it that way for a while.

No, that's not what I meant, I meant the startup screen where there's the StudioOne logo and the news feed and what have you. Anyway, through the process of elimination, the problematic plugin appears to be either the Eventide Stereo Room or the Eventide H910 Harmoniser. It could be both, although I will need to check.
