Hope I'm not writing too soon, but I've been trying out this update with a dozen songs of various complexity for the last hour and it seems the problems I've had with v3.5.0 have been fixed, entirely. No glitches in playback so far even at 128 samples (and Maximum Dropout Protection) in the busiest parts of my most complex songs! On v3.3.4 (and all other previous builds) I had to have the block size on at least 512 samples and in those busy parts usually at 1024 to avoid pops and glitches. Also, I can now again safely switch between S1 and other programs (like Chrome in which I'm writing this at the moment) and use StrokesPlus to send keyboard shortcuts to S1. In v3.5 that was not possible.

From the release notes it is not clear what exactly was done to fix the playback issues I and some other people were having, but whatever it was, I would like to thank the developers for fixing it with this rather prompt update. Now I can finally use all those great new features that came with v3.5 and, most importantly (cause I can't really afford it atm), postpone upgrading my computer for at least another year.

Nice improvements but Multi-instrument bugs hasn't been fixed. Well maybe at next update those will be issued.

Instrument names won't save to console when saving multi Instruments. At least when you use multi out channels.

Names in the track area?
That is why they added copy names to console I believe.

Yes but it is useless when using multi Instruments. You can change only main output channel name but not instruments inside. This is problem especially with vst drums when you have multiple output channels in console.

Just spent the better part of an evening with 3.5.1 and this release feels good! No hiccups, low latencies feel great, some bugs I was experiencing are fixed...

If I'm being critical, I honestly don't think the first 3.5 release was ready for prime time (but there were some HUGE under the hood changes so understandable there'd be some bugs), but 3.5.1 has been solid so far. Thanks to all involved in another very good release!

Thank you for this maintenance update.
Studio One seems to be much more stable and a little more CPU efficient than V 3.5.

Good work

Very cool, in my case the 3.5.1 update reduced the Virtual Instrument low latency monitoring by an additional 2 milliseconds from 5.5 to 3.5 ms.

Impressive. Thankyou S1 developers!

It's a good sign, not lagging when it comes to fixes and timely updates, and they even threw-in some improvements for good measure :D

This is the type of DAW I can now recommend to fussy producers, as long as future updates don't break S1 again - here's hoping.

I'm glad Reaper no longer has the efficiency crown, the S1 developers have done themselves proud, amazing work.

With 3.5.1 surely this has to be the best DAW on the planet now, seriously. I never understood why certain dudes are obsessed with Ableton Live etc. And S1 is so good that I don't need to bother with NI Studio Maschine :geek:

But honestly, I think S1 might just be ready for prime time. Now get your kit on, hit that beat

Thank you devs for working quickly to tweak the new version. I have been grooving with 3.5 and now 3.5.1 will make it an even better groove. The one thing I am hoping for in the next update would be a fix to the Solo In Place/Automation bug, since it keeps me from using Studio One for mixing. Please, please, please consider this an important bug.
