3.5 can't see my Presonus Faderport (original, not the 8).

3.5 *thinks* it can't see my Maschine Studio, Maschine Jam, and Komplete Kontrol s49, but they work. Studio One>Options>External Devices all show yellow flags, but the devices work.

I'd like to just go back to where I was before 3.5, when all this stuff worked, before it got fixed into uselessness.

Is there a clean way to go back to my most recent version?

Win 10 64.

Savvy users usually never install an update over the current (usually) working version of programs. ;)

You can run v3.5 and any other previous version(s) on the same PC... just not simultaneously. Just install each in a different folder with a version number shortcut pointing to each version. Your songs, instruments, plugins, etc. stay common to all/both versions.

You can get other versions in your PreSonus account.
Go to My Products; select Studio One 3 and right under the 32 and 64 bit version buttons, there is an active link in smaller blue text that says "View Previous Versions". Clicking on that shows a pop up with a scroll menu arrow... press the arrow and it reveals all previous versions.

Yep, for some reason, v3.5 messes with midi setup... here's the easy steps most of us are doing with good success (including me).

Do this:
Go to the top Menu/Studio One/Options then select the External Devices tab.
Click on your Keyboard name (Axiom, Yamaha, Faderport, etc).
Select "EDIT" at the bottom of the window, then in the next pop-up, select your devices' name in the 'Receive From' and 'Send To'.

Assuming you've been doing other upgrades, you should also be able to find
all the previous upgrade versions in your download folder.
Either way, downloading fresh or going to your download folder,
do the uninstall, then run a registry cleaner then reinstall the version you want.

@ dpfranz, try what Scottyo suggested. It works and you won't have to do anything drastic or miss out on the new features.

I have a few questions...but sorry if I'm being thick-headed
I have a folder on my desktop called "Music Software", with a bunch of VST downloads/installers, along with the last Studio one installer. So, should I download to that folder, or maybe create a new sub-folder?

Also, as far as installing each version in a different folder with a version number shortcut pointing to each version.
How do I set up a "version number shortcut", and point to each version? Maybe this will be obvious when i download and install, but I really don't want to mess things up (which I tend to do!)

Sirmonkey,
You're joshing us/me right?
I seem to remember you giving some great answers on these forums. 8-)

But if you're not kidding, the first thing you need to do is upgrade your amount of RAM because 64K is simply just not enough. ;)
