Having trouble with my ElectraX 64bit plugin from tone2.

It shows up in my plugins but when I try and use it nothing happens. I can drag it to a track and I let go and nothing happens.

I opened a song that was using it on a track and got an error message when loading and if I click the track to show the instrument it says this device is not installed on your system.

I reset the blacklist and even reinstalled the plugin.

The stand alone version works.

Not sure what to try next..

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Did you ever find a solution for your problem?

I'm having the very same problem with MT Power Drum Kit.

Like you did, I tried reinstalling it and resetting the black list.

Been a while...

I think I had the old version of the plugin and I had to run a patch so it would work on win 7 maybe.

Something like that.

You should put your specs in your signature.

Also I would start a new thread with MT Power Drums in the title so you might get help from fellow users.

It says it works on all windows machines, not sure what you're running.

This happens to me for all of my plugins by Melda Productions. Sometimes Studio One hangs indefinitely
when opening a song with any Melda plugs. Sometimes it opens, but the plugs come up as "Not Installed"
Weirdly, if I open a certain song that I created a few years back first, it fixes the problem (per
S1 session.... I have to do this each time I start S1). And this doesn't work for just any older project, just a certain one.
So, I really wonder what's different about that one song that "resets" S1's ability to
see Melda plugins. It's really baffling!

Atari 5200, 64K RAM S1PRO Radio Shack Cassette Recorder w/internal Mic, and too many plugins.

Thank you both for your replies.

Tacman7, I will take your advice, add my specs to my signature and then start a new thread. I am a new user to forums so I appreciate the help, I hadn't even thought about sharing my specs but it makes sense that it would help a lot.

Thanks guys.

Tacman is right. Tone2 pluggies can be a bit buggy and cantankerous. And dev Markus can be a bit of a pill. I think perhaps in their case, their copy protection scheme causes issues with some DAWS and pcs. I'm not a Melda user but I've heard others reporting problems with their stuff. And, of course, Apple is giving everyone problems with Catalina.....LOL!! On the other hand, it seems odd that Power Drums is giving you grief. It's always been rock solid for me.

In any case, good suggestions from all. I'm sure you'll get it sorted. And please let us know how you make out!
