Need a little clarification regarding Midi cable and just connecting via usb...??? Right now I am using the usb connection.
The MPK is working fine with Impact (getting sound to keys and pads) but, I can not seem to find a way to individually or manually assign a certain drum strike to the pad or key I want. If I use a midi cable would I be able to accomplish this? Thanks in advance, |

No, it should be the same.
Midi is midi and if it's working it's working, the messages are the same. Not sure how to go about doing what you want, what is it exactly you want to do?
