I have a huge problem, i cannot hear my tracks pan in studio one, in my headphones or my krk's. when i pan the tracks which i am trying to pan mono stereo and tracks i recorded from my midi keyboard. when i pan it shows the pan happening in the main outs but i can't hear it, even when panned hard left or right i hear sound even on both monitors. i am using studio one with an audio box Usb interface. Don't know wether the problems within my Audio i/o setup, or what. Been recording but am new to mixing and this is extremely frustrating because i can't find answers anywhere. please help!

Check and make sure you didnt make the main out mono. There is a button on the top right of the main out fader. A circle means mono, and a sideways figure 8 is stereo.

recording mono mic tracks, which i know lead vocals should be panned center but i need to do some things with it. stereo input, and midi sequences. all are doing the same thing. could it be in the i/o settings, I've tried messing with it a little but i can't think of anything that would make sense, and I've been trying to figure this out for a couple days!

Trying to pan tracks in studio one. don't know what else to do, I've tried everything. can somebody tell me whats wrong or anyway i can fix this, I've been trying to figure this out for days. In studio one i am trying to pan mono (tracks from my mic) stereo and tracks from my midi keyboard. when i pan i still hear sound out of both of my krk's. my main output (outputs 1 and 2) is set to stereo. the meter on the main output is recognizing the pan though, when panned hard right only the right meter rises. don't know where the problem is, i have my inputs set input left: front left input right: front right, and a stereo input which i use for my akai xr20. my out put is the standard stereo output. Please help!!

Ok. How about we start from square one?

How are the outputs in Studio One routed in the Song preferences (a screen shot would help)? How is the track you are trying to pan routed in the Studio One mixer (again, screenshots are very helpful)?

Did it ever work?

Have you tried any other sources of audio through the AudioBox from the computer?

I'm about as frustrated as you now...lol

No. I meant did it work before and stop working?

And for the other sources I meant some other application on your computer.

Are you Mac or PC? what OS version?

Let me rephrase:

1. Did you ever get a stereo panned output from your AudioBox?

2. Have you tried playing another audio source (iTunes, Windows Media Player) through the AudioBox?
