I got PreSonus Studio One 6 Artist. I am new at this. I was unable to record virtual instrument presets. With the plug-in showing in its window, I could get sound out of the virtual keyboard but would not record when hitting the record button. After spending about 8 hours trying to figure out why recording was not working, I clicked on the EDIT button below the browser for plug-ins. BINGO! The virtual keyboard switched to a vertical position and the sound would record after clicking on the record button. Don't know why it works this way but it works for me. Could not find the solution in the technical manual, tutorials or YouTube videos. Hope this helps.
