Do you know if it is possible to send a midi event each time when a track is selected.
The idea is to catch the midi event from a third party application to know what is the current selected track .

I don't see it. Midi isn't part of any internal actions in S1. Like moving a track or deleting a track or selecting a track, all internal operations that have nothing to do with midi.
