Pictures are worth a thousand words. They can really help to illustrate an issue and possibly get to an answer quicker.

The forum has been improved to handle much larger pictures/images without truncating. They automatically resize so the entire image may be seen in your post. This is great for phone viewing as well. Depending on the size or position within the image you want to draw attention to determines the best way to add an image.

You have a few options for making images available:

1) Embed Image using URL link.

Pros: Provides a cleaner look for layout and aligning images with text.
Cons: Requires you to upload to a server first. It may be too small to see the issue on some screens.

This approach requires the image to be on a public server that generates a URL to embed in your post. The URL itself must end with a known image type like png, gif or jpg etc. Image hosting sites such as PostImage, Dropbox and Screencast will provide you a URL such as:

Use the image embedding button to wrap around the provided URL for your image.

The result should look like this:

Embedded image will resize to a maximum of 1000 pixels wide and minimum the size of your phone screen.

2) Image Attachment

Pros: You can use the upload attachment feature (see below) and Forum server to upload and store your image. The image can be displayed in full size by clicking on it and it's scrollable.
Cons: Unless the "Place Inline" option is used, the image is not displayed within the text of your post and is only viewable in the attachment display window.

3) Embed Attached Image

Pros: You can use the upload attachment feature and Forum server to upload and store your image. You can place inline or embed the image using the steps below. The image can be displayed in full size by clicking on it and it's scrollable.
Cons: Aligning images with text is not as easy as in the first option. It also has a side effect of showing the image twice as It will be displayed within your post and also in the attachment window.

This approach does not work well for animated GIFs.
This is a variation of approach (2) to get around the animated GIF issue where you:
a) First attach the image.
b) Open the image (using the eye icon) and copy the PreSonus server URL link.
c) Paste/embed that URL into the post.
