On the old board there was a live audio area. This place is really weird and cumbersome. I think I'll stick to the Predonus Facebook page.
Maybe take a lesson from Harnony Central. Everything was fine, they switched software and the place is pretty much a ghost town now. Later. |

Hopefully the forum changes will not chase people away
 I think they are better overall but might need getting used to in some areas. In any case everyone is different and will always have different preferences.

I must agree. Let's say you have a problem with feedback on a stage and you would like to discuss that with more knowledgeable people. Where would you post that ?
Your experience with new microphones from brand X or Z ? A general "live" area would be welcome for those things. |

You can talk about anything you want in the "Off Topic Area" section. PreSonus is just trying to keep discussions in the product forums about that product.
So if you have a "live sound" question that pertains to the 16.4.2, feel free to ask it in that section. Otherwise, please use the Off Topic Area.

OK, I will do that, makes sense.
That said, it would be pretty cool if there was a Live Sound sub forum in the Off Topic Forum area, I believe it would draw the attention of folks like me, robare99 and other live sound dudes that like to BS about stuff not pertaining to Presonus products, but still apply to folks that have Presonus products, like how to array subwoofers, or when to pad a DI, or when to mic the amp or DI the instrument, stuff like that. Yes I went to bat for this as well, I do understand the logic, but wanted there to be a place where we can offer tips, and tricks and help others with live sound issues.. if were topic or platform specific, that would limit the the projected audience...
