It would be really nice if the Insert URL option added the = symbol right after the L in the opening [URL] code and put your cursor right after the '=' symbol so all you had to do was perform your paste function.

I always type out the words of the link, then highlight it with my mouse, then click on Insert URL. It would be nice if all we had to do was perform a paste function at that point. I know, it sounds trivial, but it would be a nice touch if it could be done.

Thanks,

Shane

There are two (actually 3) different ways to to a URL. One simply marks the text as a URL. One makes the link text different from the displayed text. The third is just to post a link and the forum will convert it for you. Examples:

1. Just paste the link: http://wrightsquaredmusic.com
NOTE: If you post a link to the PreSonus forums using this method, it will strip the beginning of the URL like this: viewtopic.php?f=217&t=1502

2. Past the link inside a URL tag: http://wrightsquaredmusic.com

3. Past the link in a URL tag but make the text something else: My Website

Yep, I prefer to use what you described in method #3. Looks cleaner and neater to me, and some links can be very long, like the ones I was posting in my DAW build thread.

It would be nice, like when you go to insert a pic and all you have to do is paste your link. Super easy.

Thanks,

Shane
