I am apart of a production duo (Banger Music). Is it ok if we purchase one copy of S03 and use it on two laptops?

Yes. You get five installations with StudioOne Professional for either mac or pc.

Also, you can "manage" those five (5) Activations on the Product Key within the Product Page of your account dashboard; for example if you decide to stop using one host computer and get a different one, etc.
