Assuming your MacBook (Pro?) meets the minimum system requirements linked above and you have the proper Universal Control device driver software installed onto your computer: http://www.presonus.com/products/FireSt ... /downloads (there's different release versions posted, based on the OS X version that the customer's host computer has installed)

ProTools 10 can utilize non-AVID audio hardware device for audio I/O. But the Core Audio device driver (part of the Universal Control device driver software mentioned in the previous paragraph) is required on your computer's operating system, as that is how ProTools 10 (or any other DAW) will access audio input/output datastream via the Firewire port of the Mac to our FS Mobile.
