I am going to replace me JBL PRX 625 and prx681xlf system with either the 328 and subs or 315 and subs. I have a 4 piece vocal rock band. Anyone got suggestions on which system to get?
Thanks
Rob

Since you are going to be the one carrying it around, I prefer the separation of a sub. 328/sub combo. The 315's and a sub may just be too much. It also comes down to the venues. I used the 315's a couple of times, and they were just fine for small club type rock shows.

Here's the pluses and minuses:

328ai - Pluses are they are lighter/easier to handle with one person. Minus is that they don't have quite the low end punch of the 315ai's.

315ai - Pluses are if you do a small gig, you can bring just the tops and still have plenty of bass for a kick drum, etc. for a smaller room. Minus is that they are heavier and bigger.

Heavier and bigger is always a plus when it comes to speakers in my opinion. I just picked up some QSC KW153's and I am super happy! (And I can still carry one by myself so not too bad haha)

We use one 18sAI with 2 328's. Indoors, for our kind of folk-rock, works great.
