Wind Controller not making any sound

I have a new Wind Controller. Its a very new product, the Lekholm DM-48 midi harmonica. It has no onboard sounds. I've been able to set it up using the REASON Demo and Acoustic Electro Waves synth patches, so I know it works.

But when I try to use it with Presonus, I can add it as an instrument, I can see it working in the Midi Monitor, but I can't get it to actually play any of the instruments like Mai Tai or anything else. The Mai Tai plug in makes sound when I mouse click on its keyboard, so that's working. And I can see the DM-48 listed and responding under "Expression" and in the Midi Monitor. But how do I get it to play the Mai Tai?

Step by step as if I were a five year old instructions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that particular instrument but properly setting it up in Studio One should be no different than any other external MIDI controller......their are many video tutorials out there:

The problem may perhaps lie in properly setting up send/receive channels in your controller and the instrument you're trying to play. I've used some guitar style MIDI controllers that were a bit squirrly in that respect.


That being said we can help you better now and in the future with a bit more info......if you will post your system specs in your signature, (see my sig), we will be better able to troubleshoot your problems. Without knowing what type of pc you're running, what OS you're using, what DAW etc....we often can't recommend a "simple fix"
