renzorosso1 wroteI do not understand weather or not one can double a single physical input (mic or guitar) and send it to my PC as two separate channels.
My question is the following.
"Using Studio 192, is it possibile to route an input (e.g. a mic plugged in XLR #1 of Studio 192) into another channel (e.g. Adat 1) in order to get TWO input signals in my DAW?"
See enclosed Routing flow chart.
This was possible, e.g. in my old RME HDSP sound card using the loopback function (and it would possible in other soundcards, e.g. Motu or Antelope, that provide a matrix of input and output flows). Apparently this is not possible using Studio 192. There is no matrix option unless one uses StudioOne as DAW.
The question is independent of the specific DAW used (I currently use Cubase and Cakewalk by Bandlab beacuse I have some long experience with these DAWs)
