Just a simple bump for the sake of a bump.

"they can can BACON?!? Holy crap, we don't stand a chance! mmmm...bacon!"

Speaking of bacon and records...

The longest salami is 1,152 m 16 cm (3,780 ft 0.54 in) and was made by Cock's Vleeswaren NV (Belgium) in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, on 23 April 2010.

The total salami weight after cooking and drying was 2,171.37 kg (4,787.05 lbs). The company used five 150 kg (330.69 lbs) containers of turkey and pork, and five 150 kg (330.69 lbs) containers of bacon to produce the record-breaking salami.

I also found this record interesting, even if unrelated to bacon. I'd never would have thought this was even possible... ... 12 hours? He should be in the Senate.

The longest freestyle rap lasted 12 hours exactly and was achieved by Reid 'V.i.P' Brown (USA) at Primal Skateboards in Abilene, Texas, USA, on 22 October 2011.

The attempt was streamed live on the internet via USTREAM.

Enough of this talk about who's got the longest salami. Get back to making music.

Maybe Kevin Bacon will post here, too. I wonder what he thinks about all of this bacon talk.

We could use a few celebrity visits, here, actually. But in the meanwhile, Monolithent is celebrity enough for me.
