If you have the hardware that came with Pro Tools LE, you should be able to upgrade to Pro Tools 9 (by using the hardware serial number) for around 250.00... That will allow you to use any hardware with Pro Tools... You can do this on Avid's website and download Pro Tools from there without waiting.
We are currently using an assortment of Presonus gear with 9.

Robert.

Bear in mind that Pro Tools 9 REQUIRES Windows 7. So if you stuck with XP through 8 like I did, that you budget to update your computer's OS, and you'll have to do a clean install of Win 7 -- in other words buy another hard drive for your system drive, and you might as well go with a big one if you're a heavy VI user.

HI, I'm new to this form and to presonus. I have a question i wanted to see if you could help with. Does Firestudio Project work with pro tools 9 or 10? I've been reading mixed reviews online of people saying they can't get it to work with pro tools 9 or 10.
I'd be running this through my windows 7 64bit vaio with a lots of ram and processing...any problems running it through windows 7?
Thanks for answering my question.....i'm looking to add more inputs so i can record my small band into pro tools.

IT does as long as ProTools is doing what it is supposed to do. Every problem I've ever seen in this realm are caused by Protools being finicky. But both are supposed to be ASIO compliant and should work together.
Do us a favor. You'll get better response by starting a new thread in the Firestudio Thread group instead of dragging up a long dead thread.

No I'm not a freaking pilot!! The Air Force won't let me have a suit with a zipper...or sometimes shoestrings.
My advice and suggestions should never be considered advice or suggestions. These are mostly insane ramblings of a poor aircraft mechanic who can, strangely enough, still hear.
