2 New Studio One Books!

Two highly respected music-industry publishing companies have released new books about Studio One!

Alfred Publishing was first up with its new volume, Teach Yourself Studio One Version 2.0, by David Terry. A followup on the company’s earlier book about Studio One 1.x, this book is focused on getting you started and also serves as a refresher for those with some knowledge of the program. I prefer having an in depth book around. Videos are nice but I work better when I go straight to what I need a refresher on etc...

I tried to write and structure it for someone who is in session and needs to find some answers. I repeated some information now and then to give a few different ways to come across an answer, etc.

Shipping to the UK, Larry's book is $40 Fedex or $20 USMail, if the latter that's about £29.50 including the special discount. Amazon UK are doing it at £18.89 plus P&P so that's a couple of quid cheaper.

Haven't seen the book yet but that's a great approach. Although I love Presonus products I have not been a fan of the documentation - seems light in many areas and some things are not explored at all e.g. scenes. More of a "Get Started" approach than a reference manual. Say what you will about PT the documentation/reference material was always very well done.

I appreciate sample pages available for the first book... any chance several could be made for Larry's book?

I decided to order both! I figure since I use S1 constantly a small investment in reading material is nothing compared to the investment in instruments etc!! Besides as I've always been told when I can't figure something out "RTFM!!".

I can only say: amazing book, very, very well explained, very nice to read, i love it !
