Click on the presonus logo up here in the left hand top corner...(takes you to presonus main) Go to technical support, User account login, sign in using your user name and password. Go to My software, Then scroll down to Studio One Pro, and install whatever you need, for Win or OSX...

Focusrite 18i20. An '1818' that actually works as advertised and has great support!! But Presonus will continue the story it was all my systems and there is no hardware issue with the 1818 and the drivers are great.

Almost two years on and Presonus continues to say it's a 'top priority' but have no driver updates, make excuses and blame others (Intel, USB3 Microsoft, Apple and now the company that writes their drivers!) when other companies have it all working on the same systems!! And it so refreshing to get regular software updates and responsive and effective support!

And the 1818 does not have 'on-board DSP' as continues to be claimed.

Jonathan

I use only demo but its not good for old cubase users.

1- impact not allow drag and drop to one pad for another pad
2- S1's PlaybackCursor appear very ugly that When I play on arrangement area.I think Your GUI have a problem for Playback cursor and wrap-stretch an event very hard for VGA.

Please make more HQ and more flexible GUI for S1 from Cubase GUI ( I want because S1 more mental for me )

Can't please everyone I guess but the GUI issue may be your machine because S1 and Cubase cursers seem the same on my machine.

Pad to pad drag/drop would be nice but you can move sounds around (to many places) using the pool.

clblnsfc it would be cool to have pad to pad drag/drop but it's not a deal breaker. How about going ahead and getting S1 Pro first

Thanks, but judging from your system specs your not running a very powerful machine. I'm thinking it's most likely the lack of power on your machine is causing the performance issues.

I hear you. All you can do is make an FR and wait for it. My post was only intended to show you how you might move things around from one pad to another right now until they maybe add pad-to-pad dragging... not to imply or assume that it would be "enough" for you.

If you want to do that right now and just get the work done, that's one method. Is it the best method on the planet? No... ... but it's the only really usable method for that right now that I know of. I suspect future releases will improve on that and some other things. If the intent was to just say that Cubase is more highly developed currently in some ways, well... yeah... that's kinda obvious to anyone who owns Cubase.

Best regards.
