There are no Wave files, or any other audio formats what could read from a DAW on a audio CD.
The Windows Explorer Browser cant read it neither.
You have to rip it from the CD Format. Then you have an audio-format, what your system can handle with.

Ari

A normal CD with mp3 files on it can be read from the Studio One Browser.

I doubt it. It's never been mentioned as an FR that I've seen. On top of that, I wouldn't use it. Never needed it.

Works fine here, but I'm on Mac, so it's probably a Mac-only feature at the moment.

The S1 browser works on top of the OS browser. This functionality is support on Mac, but not on Windows. It's down to the OS, not to Studio One at this point.

But you can easily rip CDs with iTunes or any other program.

wow...seems like S1 Pro can't even burn an .MP3 cd-r disk while in "project" mode...

S1 Pro users are restricted to the .cda format when burning cd's in "project" mode???

how do i know those files reside on a CD? those files are on a tab in the browser...which makes me believe that they reside on your HDD as opposed to a cd-r or an audio cd.

Why should I fool you???
It's the original purchased audio cd. This is how it looks like when it's not tabbed:

first of all, the cd ICON doesn't look right in your screencap...it looks photoshopped...second of all, those files are .AIFF...a somewhat uncommon format for audio cd's...which makes it even more questionable.

screencap another cd...a different cd...

and why are your screencap so low-resolution??? that doesn't seem right either.
