* AudioBox USB 1.2 is not compatible with 10.8. We are working on a resolution and expect to have a release out soon. In the meantime the Audio Box USB, Audio Box 22VSL, 44VSL and 1818SL can each be used in class-compliant operation without VSL control software installed.
* Studio One is Mountain Lion compatible as of 2.0.6.
* Universal Control 1.6 for Studio Live and FireStudio Mobile and FireStudio Project are qualified for 10.8
** UC 1.6 will need to have Apple GateKeeper disabled to install.
Apple's new GateKeeper services will warn the user that their Universal Control installation is not recommended because the application is not digitally signed. Software Engineering is actively working on delivering signed driver application installers as soon as possible. A workaround for Universal Control and FireControl 2626 is possible by disabling the security check to allow for the driver to install correctly. Information on this is here: http://support.presonus.com/entries/21743382-installing-software-on-mac-osx-that-is-not-signed-by-apple
* Studio One already has this feature enabled so there is no problem to deal with.
* FireStudio 2626 customers will be glad to know that FireControl 2626 works with Mountain Lion, however GateKeeper will need to be disabled in order to allow these drivers to be installed.

I have a repeatable issue with Mountain Lion and either Universal Control or OSX Audio MIDI Setup.
Using Audio MIDI Setup to route the speakers to the 2-Track Firewire input on the Studio Live mixer (channels 25 & 26 in my case) does not work. All sounds from iTunes playing on my Mac Mini and MacBook Pro are fed to channels 1 & 2 and cannot be changed.
As this seems to be happening in Audio MIDI setup, I suspect this is either an OSX 10.8 issue or an issue with the PreSonus driver.

Jerry - I responded in the other thread from last night also. It worked fine on my wife's MBP running ML for me. Hope you/PreSonus/Apple gets it worked out for you
I have been able to repeat this on 3 different computers here. I opened a ticket with Support.
Thanks

My 22VSL definitely is not working with Mountain Lion, either with or without the VSL software installed. I get a couple clicks and pops from my monitors and then nothing.
We are on to something here that may give us a fix for this. Will post once we confirm it.

Mountain Lion has a problem when the Audio MIDI Setup has the speaker outputs for both stereo and multichannel set to the same channels. The result is many audio sources on the computer you have set to go to the 2-track firewire channels (25 & 26 on the SL24) actually send to channels 1 & 2. The solution involves changing the multichannel settings to point to other channels.
I will inform Tech Support and hopefully Apple will fix this in the next update.

...so... nothing?
Am I going to have to by some other brand then, that has the proper drivers?
Would be nice to know if someone is working on it or not... need to record now!
