Hi. Quite new to this stuff. Can someone please explain how to use quantization on S1? What if I should want to quantize some tracks but not others? Or quantize some to 1/8 and others to 1/16 for example? Can I do that?

Thanks.

Yes you can. Select any event on the timeline and hit Q. The current quantize setting is listed and can be changed in the toolbar at the top. I tend to use ALT+Q more, to quantize in 50% increments to adjust feel without hard quantization.

You can also select individual notes in the editor and quantize the same ways. There are also some "Humanize" features in the right click "Musical Functions" menu.

Hope that helps.
