Requesting an option to show the pitch class/octave on each note in the midi editor, similar to Cubase.
(Image made by Theodor Krueger).
Requesting this be shown on all layers open in current piano roll. This makes viewing complex arrangements easier, and helps people not familiar with piano transcribe things if necessary.
Thank you.

I have recently asked for this
http://forums.presonus.com/posts/list/24911.page But for me more so for customised names or drum & midi fx carrier names,so just an advancment on what you suggest. if it pushes to that!,.

Just imagine being able to have this view in s1, for multiple lanes at the same time, better than the multi lane midi editor, which is more for orchestral arrangent, and bare in mind you cant beat this for drum sequencing also, its a must have view.
Cubase edit in place

sonar inline piano roll

and a few others Daws also have this editing feature.

I agree, having notes show value based on the notemap is a good idea. Really useful for keyswitches!
I got distracted by your Cubase screenshot, and I guess they still have odd heights for the note lanes. Why are E, F, B and C bigger than all the others? I mean, it must have been like this for over a decade now.
