FaderPort and older Sonar versions

Hi, I was all set to order the FaderPort until I read about its Sonar compatibility (requires 6). I'm way behind, Sonar 4. The thing is, Sonar 4 works great for what I do and I believe if it ain't broke, don't fix it, so I'm not upgrading at this time.

I have a couple other PreSonus products and I really appreciate their quality and cost.

So, is there a roadmap for legacy Sonar drivers? Are you releasing an SDK to these companies? Are some features available for Sonar 4 using HUI? (What will work and what will not? Forgive my ignorance, but I've never owned a control surface before.)

If anything, I'm just registering my voice for some legacy support ....

That I know of, our developers aren't going to be supporting Sonar 5-.

The FaderPort can be set up as a Mackie HUI, but I'm not certain which features will / will not function properly ... I've only been testing the Sonar 6 plugin lately.

Its a shame, but I appreciate the response. I won't lose all hope and I'll check back before making a purchase in a month or two.
