Can the FireStudio Project have separate live headphone mixes like the FireStudio?

I read that the FS can have 9 live headphone mixes and the FSP can have 5. The pictures of the FS Control Console looks different then the FSP FireControl, so I downloaded and read both manuals and am a little confused.

From what I read in the FSP manual, it doesn't seem to be able to have separate live headphone mixes?

What I need to be able to do is have separate headphone mixes for each person in a band, so they all can play and record at the same time but have custom mixes b/c each person likes to hear the click track and their own instrument more than everything else. I used to do this w/ my 2 Firepods and mixer by using the mixer's 4 aux sends to create 4 separate mono headphone mixes and then use each channels insert outs to go to each Firepods inputs.

Hopefully someone can clearify this for me.

On the FSP fire control you will see (5) different mixers (1/2) (3/4) (5/6) (7/8) and (SPDIF) -which is not a regular rca jack, but a digital one which resembles an rca jack...of course you will only be able to see one mixer for each pair of outputs on the screen at a time..but that's why you select them on the rightmost panel.... the front headphone jack mirrors off the (1/2) mixer which is the main out (control room) output... when you set up your FSP, at least on the included cubase software, you will have to assign the in's and outs, so after you're done, the eight outputs at the rear of the unit can be run to a headphone amp in pairs, now remember the (1/2) mixer controls the main out, outputs 1 and 2 and the front headphone jack. set up your bass player on the (3/4) mixer and you can send or not send him a click track via cubase, and using the said (3/4) mixer, you will be able to adjust the levels of inputs, lets say he wants drums at a lower volume, take the drum mic inputs say mic inputs 5/6/7/8 and lower their volume on the mixer, and then if he's directly plugged into Instrument input 1, go ahead and raise his volume on the mixer. It's a little weird getting used to, but it comes in very handy.

When using mono mixes (which is not uncommon, esp on vocalists) you could use all 8 outputs but you prolly wanna save 2 for CR stereo out. So 6 is very doable.

You don't really need a headphone amp since the outputs from the firestudio/project/pod are pretyy hot already (!)

I've got Nuendo running with 4 headphone (studio) mixes (max in Nuendo). works brilliantly
