I'm having a bit of a problem routing inputs, like 1-8 in the firestudio project and then selecting them in sonar as Left presonus firestudio audio 1/2 for a mono signal.
Right now i have a mic pre amp going into channel 3 of the presonus firestudio project and when i select left presonus audio3/4 i get no signal, but i get a signal if i choose right presonus audio 1/2.
how can i make and line it up so each input corrolates with the inputs i select in sonar??
Thanx for your time and your help

I'm losing the very last of the hair i have on the top of my head. If i dont get this figured out soon, im going to change my name to Kojack.
What is going on with this routing in the Paefirestudio control panel 3.0.0.70??
How come when i put the audio outs of a synth (left and right) into 3 and 4 of the Firestudio and i choose stereo 3/4 as the input in sonar, i get no signal??

thanx for you input, but everything is selected in sonar, all five inputs(stereo) are checked off. I dont have any trouble using any of the 8 inputs, its just that the routing in the fire control seems screwy to me. If i have a mic in input 3 of the firestudio project and then i select input 3/4 left as the input in sonar, i wont hear anything, but if i select 1/2 left, ill hear it. I know theres something simple im missing. I just need some clarity

I figured it out with trial and error and it wasnt easy. There should be a sticky for this.
This is how to do it with the firestudio Project,
Click the set in the fire control panel 3.0.0.70 and theres 2 drop down menu's
speaker and channel
For each WDM sequence 1-10 you need to define 2 inputs in the channel section.
For example: WDM sequwnce 1 would be Firestudio Project mic 1 and 2, and WDM sequence 2 would be Firestudio Project 3 and 4, and so on.
Theres was no documentation on this that i found, there should be!!!!

CJay,

How do you define 2 inputs for each wdm sequence??
In my case, I can only define one per wdm sequence, if I define the second one, the first one gets reasigned to another sequence.

Thanks for your help!!

Cjay,

I am having the same problem that you had. Can you please clarify your findings to me. Where do I find the fire control panel 3.0.0.70?
